About the brand

In an era where convenience and security are paramount, SmilePay by Federal Bank redefines the payment landscape. Utilizing advanced facial recognition technology, SmilePay enables users to make payments simply by scanning their face, offering a seamless, secure, and futuristic transaction experience.

By using this facility, customers can now make payments for services from merchants without the need for physical payment instruments like cards or mobile phones. Payments can be made simply by scanning their face. The entire transaction process is completed in just two simple steps.

Social Media Objective

We worked on SmilePay from scratch, from conceptualizing the logo to  shaping the narrative and launching the campaign on (online) social and onground (offline).

The objective was to create awareness and curiosity for this futuristic mode of payment.

Content Strategy

Phase 1:

Pre-buzz (teaser)

This phase was all about creating buzz and curiosity that something cool is coming, and it has something to do with your smile. We took popular sayings and phrases on smile, and gave it the SmilePay twist. This led to organic PR coverage around SmilePay.

Phase 2:

Launch

We launched SmilePay with content around slice of life experiences made easy with SmilePay. We created content to hammer the fact that PINS, cards, and cash are outdated in 2024, and

Phase 3:

Sustenance

The sustenance phase is currently underway, with the primary goal of maintaining ongoing engagement around SmilePay. This phase focuses on keeping the conversation alive through a mix of tweets, engaging reels, and informative content.

The aim is to continuously reinforce brand awareness while highlighting the convenience and innovation of SmilePay, ensuring it stays top-of-mind for the audience.
